Her Story

Ms. Annie has always had a passion to be a small business owner. After retiring from a major telecommunications company with nearly 30 years of service, Ms. Annie realized that there was something more in the stars for her to do rather than just go home and be “retired”.

Corporate America was great in that phase of her life, but now she was ready to open a new chapter and embark on a more personal and fulfilling journey.

Raised in a very close family with six siblings, Ms. Annie loved to cook. On holidays and special occasions, you could always find her in the kitchen with her Mom. As she grew into adulthood and got married with a family of her own, her favorite pastime was entertaining family and friends.

For many, many years her home has always been the gathering spot for the annual Thanksgiving feast welcoming a large group of family and friends to share her table. Always being sought after to prepare one of her famous casseroles for special occasions, a family member suggested that she open her own casserole business.

After revising old and developing new recipes, One Dish Wonders was born. One Dish Wonders, LLC is a casserole baking company that was developed to accommodate the busy lifestyles of today’s families. However due to the numerous customer request for an extended menu, One Dish Wonder has evolved into a full service catering company offering an array of entrees, meats, dessert, appetizers and salads. Sadly, Americans rarely eat together anymore. In today’s face-paced environment, it’s getting increasingly more difficult to have dinner as a family. One Dish Wonders’ mission is to bring families “back to the dinner table” because the dinner table acts as a unifier and a place of community.
